TOPIC: Reverse Auction: Quicksilver Sphere & Cube

Reverse Auction: Quicksilver Sphere & Cube 7 years 11 months ago #1

OK, I'm going to try a reverse auction for the Ioun Stone Quicksilver Sphere and Ioun Stone Quicksilver Cube. I will post an offer here and if I don't get any takers in a few days I'll increase my offer. I'll purchase from the first (and possibly second) response for each token.

I'm currently offering:

Ioun Stone Quicksilver Sphere: $275
Ioun Stone Quicksilver Cube: $255
My online token shop: www.tdtavern.com

We buy, sell, and trade True Dungeon tokens. We also have a convenient consignment program where you can sell your own tokens.

Kirk,
I wish you luck. I've been searching for months and am still seeking an ioun stone quicksilver cube for my build.
If you get more than your needs, I am seeking one myself.

I missed out on biting one when they first came out and haven't been able to find a seller since. So don't feel bad of you've only been looking a couple months.

Probably due to part timers not wanting to part with it as a very useful memento (stares at mine). If I relied on selling my token to pay for con (some volunteers do obviously) it'd be different. I volunteer part time as i play TD and want to help it keep going. Hence i suspect why not that many sphere's out there as people like me hang onto them.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

There was a goof with the Onyx Cube and Sphere. Jeff ended up giving all of the volunteers both, so there are more of them in circulation. We weren't so lucky with the Quicksilver :(

Didn't know that, I started volunteering the year after apparently.

Ummm... I can vouch from personal experience that not ALL volunteers got both. At least neither of the ones who live in my house got two.

I second this. That was the second year of volunteering for me, and I only received the Cube. Guess some people were lucky.

Also not sure that info was correct. At least me and one other friend I vol with only got the cubes. Maybe the extra distribution was limited to local install or the WYC event.
