Yeah, I'm with James. I love the metal cases! Here's a few pics that have some of mine in them:

Two cases (6 trays & 12 trays - and other stuff)

The "token chest" I share with friends (not metal - but 12 trays and awesome)

Love seeing treasures like these, Trent! All my True Fantasy cups have seen heavy usage since 2009 so none look as pristine as yours. Thanks for sharing.

I actually have maybe 40 or more of those I bought from Kirk still, but for storage I like to use three ring binders. Full sets fit nicely, 20 tokens per page, six per set.

I use the ones from Kirk for all my RUC sets and they work great in 1.5 inch 3 ring binders you just hole punch them with the bottom hole right below the little square, 15 per page 8 per set. And they never fall out like the generic ones I got at gen con that spilled all over my trunk.

I found some neat sheets... holds 20 per page and has a tab on each slot to hold the tokens. I got my first set today to test... the tokens are a bit tight, but they won’t slide out. They seem less fragile and crackly but I will need to see how they age.

They are four holes, not standard three, though...

On Amazon search for Epaler 5 Sheet 20 Pockets Plastic Coin Holders

I will test how they fit in the four ring binders...

Mongo are those a more sturdy plastic?

I mostly use the Lighthouse Optima that Kirk & Trent sell. I have had some of the seams come apart, but despite that, they are still the best.

I also got some of the "Ultra Pro 3-Hole Storage Page with Flaps". They are 4x5 but with a long flap across each row and I didn't like that as much. I assume those are the ones you tried and said the plastic was too thin?

Yes, very sturdy plastic... a little rubbery actually. The tokens are a tight fit. The dimensions are identical to the optima but hold 20 instead of 15... the optima are a bit more secure, however.

I will bring them to Pax South and Origins...

The top and bottom holes are same place, but middle two are half inch off from the óptimas.

The óptimas are easier to remove and replace tokens, actually, as well. Even with the slide. I just like the idea of 20 to a page... and because of the slide are probably much more secure. I will take a picture tomorrow and post it here.

Trent wrote: I'm not sure if they sell them any more or not. When I first started, I bought a bunch of them. Literally half of them were damaged/cracked, and I didn't have the heart to tell Jeff and return them. And even the ones that weren't damaged, the tokens would fall out of those too easily. After that, I bought some from Kirk. See these links:

www.tdtavern.com/token-sheet.html or www.tdtavern.com/token-storage-sheet-5pk.html

And once I started my site, I sell them as well:

www.trenttokens.com/collections/trent-tokens-binder-sheets

If you've never tried them, here's more info:

These are my favorite token binder sheets that I've found so far. They are designed to hold 42mm coins, which fit the True Dungeon tokens nice and snug.

They are clear 8 x 10 sheets that hold 15 tokens each (75 tokens total). Each strip holds 5 tokens and slides out from the top, which allows you to insert tokens into the opening from the right. Once the strip is slid back down into the sheet, your tokens aren't going anywhere!

I also recommend the 4 ring Token Binders specifically designed for these sheets.

Yep I use the binder for character and long term storage but the trays for medium term storage components. I have a poker tray for bulk storage.

I do the same thing, they work great. I have a bunch of 1,000 poker chip trays that stack nicely for longer term storage (for my lower level tokens).

Agreed more per page would be nice.

I have taken a picture of the 3 by 5 and 4 by 5's side by side.

The outer dimensions are identical...

Thanks for that, Mongo. Would it be possible to get a close-up of the flaps that secure the tokens in place? They look pretty snug and unlikely to slide out, but it'd still be nice to get a closer look.
