TOPIC: $52. Dead Characters after Six - no pin for them.

Is it really too expensive to print a Ghost button when you're charging $52 for a True Dungeon run? For $52, our dead players get SOME sort of souvenir from the adventure besides a Hope You Had Fun getting killed by the DMs again grin.

Come 'on and bring back the ghost buttons for 2016. If there is extra surplus after GenCon, sell 'em on eBay.

I completely agree with this comment. My group really loves the pins, and most of them pin them on their badges. It's great advertising for True Dungeon as well. We did not succeed in Room 7 on our first run (the only run in that Dungeon for most of our group) and many members of our group were very sad that they weren't going to have any Pins for that adventure.

Add my vote to bringing back the Ghost buttons.

I like the ghost adventure pin idea. And the Rogue T-Shirt one too.

I proudly display both 2011 Victim badges - I didn't realize they stopped having Ghost badges, please bring them back!

I enjoyed the Victim pins as well.

I liked them, too, but nothing is free. I would expect bringing them back would result in another ticket increase.

Peel and stick over the "Survivor" on the pin.

Voila. Cheap solution that doesn't require printing new pins. If the player is going to peel off the sticker just to be a survivor, then more power to them. I'd think having that sticker might count as a badge of honor.

That would solve the problem, but would still increase cost. That would involve buying enough pins for everyone, I suspect now Jeff buys fewer than that because some percentage of people won't survive and need a Survivor Pin. It would add an extra step in the check-out room and might increase wait times.

I had one kid die on a normal newbie run the last room of Under dark combat. On normal we walked into the room everybody took half life then the flayer smashed this poor kid for 20 before I could even heal him. I felt super bad for him and gave him my survivor pin.

Ghost/Victim pins would be awesome and I don't think it would cost over $100 to order 100+ pins so ticket costs should not go up over such a minor cost. I think a good suggestion would be restricting Ghost Pins to Normal Mode if people are worried about cost.

My son's first run was in 2010 against Smoak. After our first successes, a run with longtime friends from college failed to defeat Smoak. My son didn't display the victim button on his lanyard...(but he already had multiple nightmare survivor buttons).

500 2" buttons cost $.35 each. 1,000 buttons cost $.30 each. And this is retail. So, for the whopping total of 0.60 you can print 2 buttons for each person.

There are already buttons for each adventure, Normal and Nightmare, so I would find it hard to believe that there would a cost issue.

So, let's get the Ghost buttons back. There's some nostaliga about the buttons, and a story to go with them. I think far more than the survivor buttons.
