TOPIC: Hawk Kin question

The Hawk-Kin in Zephyr Combat on Friday at 7 PM was also great (maybe the same person). We had a few children with us and she was nothing but kind to them while also being very funny.

My Son and I loved the Hawk-kin and we tried to save her. We had done the puzzle before combat and knew what was happening. He is a 5th level
36 strength barbarian and we attempted to secure her with 100' for silk rope and elven rope (I had switched a cloak of destiny for the Gnome jet pack) we loudly told her (to the strange looks of the other party members) we had had visions of her doom and we were roping her off and running the ropes through a strong steel post so that she would not fly away. After about a minute of this (I was also standing between her and the curtain) she said that she needed to get to the next party so I "accidently" stepped away (the other dm said the elemental cut the ropes and that I took 2 points of damage from the fragments as she was sucked out) and got the first attack. after we killed the elemental in 2 rounds we chatted and thought it was funny how much we tried. Really fun role play but I wish we could have saved her, but I guess the Feather monster parts had to come from somewhere

I am glad you guys tried it. It's too bad she couldn't keep going with the party.
