TOPIC: TD panel at IndyPopCon

TD panel at IndyPopCon 9 years 10 months ago #1

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but none of the other forums seemed like the right place either...

Thanks to Jeff, Stu, Brian, other Jeff, and David for the TD panel at IndyPopCon this weekend. It was great to hear some of the stories about how things in TD came to be.

I wish I could have been there. Do you have any cliff notes or highlights? I'd love to know more about the origins and history of True Dungeon.
My online token shop: www.tdtavern.com

We buy, sell, and trade True Dungeon tokens. We also have a convenient consignment program where you can sell your own tokens.

It was really cool to hear about how this all came about. Thank you all for sharing.

I sure wish I had gone to a JeffCon back in the day.

Kirk, it looked like they were recording it, so hopefully it will go up on the internet somewhere before too long.

But a few of the things I remember:
- why the TD blue hand volunteers got their name
- how driving down country roads in a pickup truck is great for creativity
- where using the shuffleboard for combat came from
- where Jeff got some of the funding to get TD started
- how TD's first year at GenCon came to be

I suspect that many of these things have been mentioned in the past, just that I never heard them.
