I am doing my first True Grind this year. Any sage advice from vets of the Grind for me?

no treasure tokens(IE HoP, CoGF, RoR)
depends what class you play..Squishy class..load up on AC..non squishy class go for damage

If playing hardcore or above..you will probably die

bring Eric and the Dms treats won't help..it won't hurt you either

I am non-squishy Druid with more than a few purps and transmutes. Anything that you can think is a must for Druid?

And think about non-combat problems too. Weapons sticking or being magnetized. Winds that take away ranged. Silence spells. Incognito and company are good at making a combat non-standard.

1. Thoughtfully prepare your build. Many players just copy and paste their character builds from the main adventure or last year's Grind. That may work and will save you time, but you can significantly improve your chances by actually taking the time to figure out a build (and it's not just about mix/maxing either).

2. There are multiple levels of depth to Grind. Many players only scratch the surface level (and many of them are fine with just that). But for those who want a deeper experience, there is plenty to be had. Creative use of tokens (including lots of "non-combat tokens") and careful preparation for what you may (or may not) encounter, can yield impressive results.

Here is what I have:
Charm of Heroism
Greater Cloak of Destiny
Gloves of Glory
Ring of Greater Focus
Ring of Improved Evasion
Ring of Protection +1 ? something better here?
Crown of Might
Girdle of Might
Boots of Might
+2 Scepter of Might
Druids Wild Vestments
Dragonscale Armor
+3 Mithril Bracers
Wil's Dragonheart
Greater Mistletoe
Earcuff of the Wind
Rod of Seven Parts Seg 3
Rod of Seven Parts Seg 4
Dragon Tooth Amulet
Draco-Lich Charm
Ioun Stone Beryl Prism
not sure what other Ioun Stones to include

I also have +3 Rod of Niltongue
I need a ranged weapon and some wood or other alternate weaponry

I have a bunch of polymorph potions should I pack these given 5th level bonus and no polymorph restrictions?

Any thoughts welcome on this. I think I have a good start, though.

The Charm of Heroism is redundant with your four-piece Might set. You can either choose a different Charm, or swap out some of your Might items.

If your third ring is only going to be a Ring of Protection +1, then the Gloves of Glory might not be worth it. Try a better ring or go with different gloves/gauntlets.

Wild Vestments are only useful if you really plan on polymorphing. If so, you might want to focus your build on upping + hit/damage. If you are not emphasizing polymorph, you can choose a different shirt (Sacred Vestments, Health, Shielding, Silverweave).

Do you have an offhand item? You could fit a shield or Orb of Might into the build.

Looks like you are on the right path.
I would suggest a small handy collection of non-combat gear tokens.

Also a spare weapon is always good.

Why is a spare weapon good to have? (I've never done Grind, or is this something you may need in any adventure?)

I personally hate switching gear, it causes issues with the stats on the card, but as listed above, there are many reasons to have some backup weapons in particular.

here's me a few months back "What!?!?...my bow?..he took my bow from me?"
--Jaw drop.--

Not having a weapon for many classes drastically hurts.
You're solution could be easy and simple."Bear Form!" grrr

Expert tip:
I'd also suggest bringing a way to remove every condition you can.
P.S. sort them very well so you know which scroll/potion to pull.
