Well, the idea would be that players would indicate what time slots they are interested in. So if a slot opens up at 7 PM, I only go through the list of players who indicated they were interested in that specific time.

The whiteboard / low tech option would work well.

My concern about the whiteboard is visibility.

The TD area is often dark, so it might not be easy to read. In addition, I don't know the geographic location of Grind. If it is far away from everything else, then not many people are going to have easy access to view the whiteboard.

Another thing that might work is a Text Blast. Get a list of people that would like to get in on an open grind slot and enter them into a texting list. When a spot opens up then send out the text blast and the first person to arrive at the Grind HQ gets the slot.

When a person gets an open spot delete them from the text group.

I do like the idea of a text blast.

Then just put of a sign/scratch it off a white board if all the ticket holders arrive. Personally I know there are only a few grinds that would work with my schedule, so only a few grinds I would want to be on stand by for.

Unfortunately I have no idea if there is sufficient space for this. I don't know where the Grind area is compared to the rest of the dungeon and I don't know if there would be a deck area near Grind where people could hang out.
