TOPIC: did you go to WhosYerCon 2014

I drove in from Dayton, OH. Stayed 2 nights at the Clarion. Paid for membership and the bonus die. I played 3 Pathfinder sessions in addition to TD events. Food was meh, rooms were a little rough. The feel of the Con was actually great having only been to GenCon previously. I'll likely go back next year if TD is not there (definitely if TD is), but I have a lot of ties to Indy and know several of the folks who help put on WYC. I know they're hoping to move to a different hotel next year.

I arrived on Saturday at 2:00 PM and left Sunday around 11:30 AM. I used this for transmitting our tokens. Doing the four room run and the true grind were great. The true grind was like a practice run for GenCon and gave me some insight for adjusting our characters for GenCon. It also helped me tie more names with forum IDs, such as Adeya. I also had pre-paid for the WYC membership. One of my friends even gave them extra to help go towards a bigger hotel next. Had a good time.

I've always assumed Adeya looks exactly like this:

It's just a picture I found somewhere on the interwebs that I really liked. It really doesn't have anything to do with my class preference or appearance. I just wanted something that looked cool since I knew I'd see it a lot.

That's exactly what she looks like in my memory as well.

And yes, it was Batgirl. Thank you Fizz. Although now I'm thinking I ought to cosplay as my TD avatar for GenCon.
