In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

TOPIC: 2013 and the Special

Re: 2013 and the Special 10 years 7 months ago #13

When people draw a treasure and have questions, they don't think about asking a ciach who is probably busy with other groups. Brad and i probably weren't the only ones to think about asking at the desk on the way out.

And that's what makes it so frustrating. There's nothing to be done about it now but it was a decision with a huge impact fo several folks, and we made the wrong one based on bad info from a misinformed person doing the best they knew how. Can't get mad at anybody over it, but... Still frustrating and sad.

Thats a good point. Perhaps we should instruct the box tenders and XP desk folks to refer token questions to coaches. Yes these folks are indeed busy but it might be better to give a slow answer versus a wrong answer. Now, that being said its still entirely possible a coach could give you a wrong answer but should be far less likely.

What would be really cool is a pre-coaching kiosk. a booth with computers a printer and a coach that is just there to help get pre-printer player and party cards and is avaible to answer token questions. Would be the perfect place to send folks that have token questions. :)
Sweet a combat room, we won't take damage!

I would be very frustrated too. But all is not necessarily lost. Contact Jeff and explain the situation. I don't know if he can/will do anything to remedy the mistake, but there's absolutely no harm in asking. The worst he can say is no.

Or a Coordinator or the Token Database .
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .
