In 2013 our plans call for us to add an additional adventure to the event. There will be two consecutive adventure modules, and each module will have two variations of either a combat or puzzle orientation. The first module called “Lycans Afoot” tasks the party to travel through a dark forest in search of a tower, while the second module called “Golembane” challenges the party to reach the top of tower.

As far as Lesser Maze and the genie, I decided that the genie was indeed removed from combat for a round, but that she did not return to her own plane of existence. When she returned from the Maze, Cogwind's magimagnetic chains trapped her again.

I like that. You made a decision, explained it, and kept moving.

So the additional 50 XP (looks liek for Hardcore Golem Combat entrees) giving one 2050 XPs is a mistake and will be corrected?

XP got monsterously messed up, it will likely take time but I"m sure it will eventually get corrected.

As for difficulty we were very unsure so we ran HardCore. I had thought it would be ok as our first run went fine but then we encountered a wolf that did 25 points of damage in a single attack and 1 shotted our Rogue.
Sweet a combat room, we won't take damage!

Yeah, having played Normal in both combat runs this year, I can say for sure that it was harder than previous years - especially the Lycans Combat. I don't think it's for "those with a few bags of tokens" unless those are bags of healing items.

Golembane we did better on, but having a monster double-spamming 8 point magic missile attacks against the party is still a hell of a lot of damage especially considering the force field and magnetic weapon effect. I'd be surprised if a random starting group could make it through either of this years combat runs successfully. (by which I mean actually taking down the monsters rather than just surviving the push damage)

I had a hell of a lot of fun, but glad I didn't end up shooting for a Hardcore run with our usual teams.

I did both Puzzle on Hardcore and Combat on Normal on both runs. Overall Lycan was harder in my experience. Lycan Normal even seemed harder than Golem Hardcore. The egg was a bitch (though we got it every time). The Wisp was damn near impossible to hit (though apparently you didn't need to fit it in the first place). The rope puzzle had our group tied in knots. And I am not even certain of the final puzzle though we 'solved' it twice.

For some reason, now it looks like the Nightmare and Hardcore designatons have been removed from my 2013 runs. They were there earlier, are others seeing this?

We took down the WoW with a boatsplosion of magic missles, I am curious the way around that one with no combat. We were running Nightmare and the WoW only managed to hit someone once.

What I was told, and I don't know if it is true or not, but the way to next room wasn't blocked. If you didn't approach the obelisk the WoW would not have attacked. In fact I do know the sign on the ob said avoidance because we spent a scroll of comprehend language (after the fact) to read it.

So, the other option was just to spend 12 minutes in the room avoiding the obelisk? I'll take the fight any day.

I didn't say it was an optimal choice just that apparently that was an option. I don't have the tokens to support decent rangers so if I knew on Hardcore we could have avoided it we might have. If I was playing nightmare with my tokens then I would definitely dodge it.

Just noticed the same thing. Would be nice to have a record of which were which level of difficulty. Although right now I'm still waiting for 4 runs to even show up at all.
