TOPIC: 2013 Online Volunteer Sign-Up Page is OPEN!

Likely not until after the 30th (I suspect Jeff and co are quite busy with the logistics of the Dwarven forge kickstarter until then) but the windmill email they sent out recently said they would have more info for us before event ticket bookings opened on the May 19th.

Badge question and I apologize if this has already been answered. I received the email saying I was accepted as a volunteer but not if it was full time or part time. I am mainly concerned about my badge. Event registration is around the corner and I don't want to miss events becuase of no badge. I also do not want to purchase one and have a credit given to me for the badge becuase it just sits as a system credit and I find that a waste of money. I just want to know if I need to prepare to buy a badge and ahve a huge credit once I get my volunteer badge or have someone buy my event tickets and hope they can get my TD Run before they all sell out. Any help would be appreciated! (This is Kyaria, for some reason I can not post with my normal display name becuase it keeps saying I can not use someone else's name to make posts)

Last year they told us a week or two before event registration. That gave plenty of time to submit the info for our 'Gamemaster' badge and wish list events. I am guessing we will hear sometime in the next two weeks.

It means send an email. Possibly they got everyone they need but maybe you're email address just got recorded wrong.

According to the newsletter sent today, Volunteer schedules will go out in the next few days. It's at the very bottom of the letter. Thank you scheduling person (not sure who does it) for working so hard to get these out in time for event registration.

I think it's Lori and Jean that work on the schedules.

Did anyone get their schedule last night? I got two copies of the "heads up" newsletter. I'm assuming I'm part of the "yet to be scheduled" group. Looks like I'm waiting a bit longer to plan out my events.

I didn't get a set schedule yet either. I am part of the build team here in Indy, but signed up as a part timer for the con. It may be that we are going to be fill ins, which means we find out next week

Odd question. I remember seeing something previously about the build period for Gencon but am missing the info. I am a local and was thinking of taking the Wednesday off to help with the build if help is still needed. Due to kid commitments I would only be able to help for the normal "work day"

Not really expecting anything in return, just willing to put in for physical labor.

Got the heads up the schedules are coming later tonight email but not schedule. Could be were yet to be scheduled (or they're may have been a delay in them going out). Did anyone actually get one last night/today?
