George,

Thanks for the input.

Personally, as the Mage, I wouldn't pay 45-50gp. I'd prefer to get two Magic Missle scrolls at 25gp.

I think splitting the damage between two creatures isn't that significant given that it is only 3pts each. The party doesn't know if two creatures have 3pts of life left or 6pts. I think it would probably be better to make sure you kill one creature than take a chance on two and possibly give one (or both) and extra swing.

Douglas,

COI - your opinion should not weigh more than George's! ;)

BHands is nice - it may have added effects against creatures vulnerable to fire attacks...however it could have negative effects also. It could burn books or scrolls in the room - set afire any oil etc. and creatures immune to fire damage are, well immune.

I would agree that for the dual damage potential BHands falls in the 45gp range.

It is not 6 points split, it is 6 point EACH (as per Dave's post about 6 above this one).

I agree 6 points split isnt worth much more than MM. But 6 points each is effectly 2 attacks.

NOW this is the Law of the Jungle — as old and as true as the sky;
And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the Wolf that shall break it must die.

As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk the Law runneth forward and back —
For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

George,

Ah! In my haste, I misread it. :shock: This scroll really shines with multiple creatures (12 pts automatically). And sort of in the range of MM with only one. Yeah, I agree with you. I think 45gp is about right.

As always, I just try to guess the average of everyone's opinions. :D
