I resisted, but the voice kept saying--Blackrazor is out there--find it. I didn't buy any more, but I definately plan on doing a lot of trading at Indy--especially on gear and commons with a few rares. I will keep my end of the economy moving.

I'm sure a lot of us addicts would be investigating the possibility of a second mortgage if Jeff put out "special edition +2 tokens" in a limited number of bags.

Personally, though.. I think that "Special +2 tokens" shouldn't go to the wealthy but to the worthy. Wouldn't a +2 token be an awesome reward for finishing a HARDCORE dungeon alive?

And then we can all watch the blood fly as the team argues about which member gets it!

That would be a great reward, and I think it is just that the worthy gain the reward. You could read the new in the tavern the next day--"Paladin slaughters party to obtain Holy Avenger" :twisted:

It would ba a good reward, even with the mayhem that might follow.

I think that there should be dungeon only tokens. I know that Jeff said that he was planning on hiding some tokens in especially hard places to find in the dungeon, but I would prefer they would be found on merit. Players might get them defeating an hard optional encounter, opening a trapped chest in a secret passage, or overcoming the final obstacle in any hardcore dungeon. I don't think that they need necessarily be powerful. As more and more people get more and more magic items that are strong, the game becomes harder and harder to balance between the haves and have nots. But they could all be interesting and/or useful.
Examples: Potion of cure medium wounds, wand of treasure finding,
Scroll of bull strength(+2 or 4 strength for one room), mithril chain that a thief could use

Not fair. We all guessed more than a week ago. I should be the winner(in my opinion), as I guessed the latest date and they didn't sell by then.

Your right, its not fair. I don't deserve to win placing my guess so close to the actual date they sold out. Someone else is more deserving. Can't wait for GenCon. I have never played "True Dungeon" and hope not to embarrass myself.

These are all good suggestions. And I think that I will steal quite a few of them. I love the idea of a special token for Hardcore finishers!

Now...I just have to decide what special one to give them...
