But, for the sake of argument,
If you say that the physical bag is worth nothing, and the tokens are normally distributed, 2 bags in 5 having an extra common, 2 in 5 an extra rare, and 1 in 5 an extra very rare, using raven's price list(which, while a great resource and all, I vehemently disagree with in many areas, but it's the best we have).
This yields approximately 213 GP per bag worth of item value and 39 gp of actual gold and gems.
This suggests, that if True Dungeon were to consider just selling bags of gold, unless they want to seriously change the current token economy, they should offer them @ $9 for 250 gp.

I think it has already been stated that TD cannot set a fixed monetary value on a set number of gold pieces - what could happen is TD could set up bags of 9 tokens and make it a random bag of nothing but gold and/or gems...
