What extravagances?<br />As a cleric he has that vow of poverty. So naturally he is showing mercy by giving away gold gained in his adventure to the poor, hard working servants in town.

Hmm "Essence of Smoak".<br /><br />To be the 4c item "Smoak Grill".  Once per dungeon, choose to BBQ a monster instead of fight it.  Do not receive any treasure if you do this.  All members of party are at full life.

Oh, I see, well it would seem extravagances come in multiple forms, shapes and sizes. Then by all means continue. Who am I but a lowly and humble cantrip tosser to be speaking for the gods anyway?
