An item that gave the wearer a massive fire-breathing attack once per room would be pretty cool (Fires of Smoak or something)  =)

I think it would be cool if the ingredient token from Smoak was a vial of Dragon's blood. Very potent stuff. As for the 4C item it would be cool if it was a wand or rod that you had to personally make using ingredients you had found through out the years - such as a wand of fireballs or a Scroll of Fireward. One of the things I was disappointed in the combos this year (and why I did not get any of them) was that they were all weapons and even though I don't have a purple weapon I really had no use for any of them. Only the Orb of Pelor looked kinda cool. So yeah I know its hard for Jeff and Dave and co. to come up with cool items year after year but I felt there should have been more variety in them. <br /><br />Lady Myke

<br /><br />I did like the Scepter, that was the only Combo Token I traded for this year.  It's especially good for the Wizard, since it does the same damage as the Staff of Striking our Wizard was currently using. 

I like the Scepter too.  Anything that helps keep the wizard alive is a good thing.

Oh yes the wizard should always live .  <br />How about a necklace...braclet of fireballs, useable by any class, but consumable with 4 uses?  <br />Or for a new slot item there is always the kneepads of allure...could be copyrighted though...so kneepads of appeal?<br /><br />Jennifer

I'm not as fond of consumables for purples or combo tokens.  I'd rather those be random treasure or bag draws. 

I'd also really prefer it to be a non-consumable for the 4C Combo. 

I'm going to third that thought. I only want combo items that are permanent. I don't want to go through all the grief of putting one together only to turn it in after I use it.

I don't mind 1c or 2c to be expendable.  Would you really turn down a Potion of Deaths Door that you had to give 1 ingredient, 100 gp, and 3 potions for?<br /><br />On a side note, a 3-4c that let you use a charged item once per adventure without using a charge would be kinda cool.

<br /><br />Depending on the mix, that does not sound entirely unreasonable.<br /><br /><br />

I know that I was excited for the +1 orchorn shortbow, all other magical shotbows are OOP URs, so for the Rogue of the group this was a must have.
