TOPIC: Previously 00 Pack Discussion - Now Otter Run!

<br />On a sidenote, I'm hoping for the day when Jeff just decides to sell URs without the rest of the tokens with it. I'm not sure I really want any more tokens. I was digging through the piles yesterday and you wouldn't believe how many alchemist fire's I found. I actually thought about setting up a pyro run where all participants can only use alchies and nothing else just to get rid of them.<br />

<br /><br />Make it Alchemist Fire, Hickory Firenuts, and whatever that other exploding berry was from this year, and you can count me in.

We need to plan these things out in advance next year so we can all organize and buy more tickets. We can have a run where you can only use fire, a run where you can only use potions, the dagger commando run, the run where everyone's an otter, etc

The pyro in me desperately wants a "Fire Based" turn in.. <br /><br />

<br />Here's the question, if you order a 100(120) pack all as one, are you guaranteed a 00 pack in the order, or is it still completely random?<br /><br />The question arises whether or not I've been gypping myself out for the past two years, because I can't stand to spend that much in one chunk on something like tokens.<br /><br />In a semi-related note... 10% of my rares this year were frigging Hats of Escape. Six in one 15-pack box! ARGH!<br />

Otter run? No wai!<br /><br />Any monster that sees a party full of otters would either need to make a save vs Fort against being sent into a cuteness-based diabetic shock, or save vs Will against being Confused.

<br /><br />Well, I would agree with you that it is exceedingly likely statistically speaking, it is also statistically possible (albeit an exceedingly small possibility) that it wouldn't have a 00 pack.

It is possible to not get one. People in the past haven't.

If it is truly random, which I believe to be true, then it absolutely is possible that you get zero 00 packs.<br /><br />I think it is like 35% chance or so...  (.99% ^ 100, if my probability math serves me)<br /><br />Of course, that also means there is a chance you'll get more than 1 '00' pack. 

Someone I know got a 00 and a GT in a 60 pack order last year. Crunch those odds.
