TOPIC: violet ion stone consumption?

Re: violet ion stone consumption? 15 years 2 weeks ago #13
Having been a silent witness to several true grinds, I observed players having all three slots of their violet ion stone used up then tell the DMs they didn't have to give them up, that they could keep them. Since we still do not have a way to permanently mark tokens (all the DM had was dry erase markers) what is the plan going forward, make itens with marked slots only apply to a dungeon, or should they be consumed (like a potion) when the DM marks the last slot, has there been any progress on finding a method to mark tokens besides dry erase markers?

How about this? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000UBGNTG?&tag=shopwiki-us-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325 (sheet metal punch)
Legally... its questionable. Morally... its disgusting. Personally... I *like* it.

Try having grown up in rural dairy-farming country! You kind of grow used to the scent after a while, even if you suffer scent => taste synesthesia.

Pigs aren't bad if you give them more room to range. It's the rancid sty that really stinks.

Chickens on the other hand... well, there's a reason they are called "fowl". :P
