TOPIC: Proof Ultra Rare Tokens

Have a gander at these images of the proof Ultra Rare tokens.  This is how the proof tokens will come this year.<br /><br />Do you like? <br /><br />Also, see some FINAL freakin' changes to the URs.  I change the name of the Druid circlet to a coronet (more appropriate), and the head of Gearon's Mace gold colored, and change the power of the +2 Sling to be more...well...biblical -- so to speak.  Please let me know ASAP...and I mean ASAP your feedback.  <br /><br />I like this look because you can tell from a distance that these URs are special - yet they still can be used.<br /><br />Thanks.<br /><br />[attachment deleted by admin]

I like the changes made to the tokens.  I'm not sure what I think about how the word proof looks.  I see the need to make them look different though.<br /><br />Kim

It's proof you have a proof token!  I think it's pretty kewl.<br />

Everyone,<br /><br />We can leave them as they are, just make them identical to the regular UR tokens or we can place a tiny "PROOF" at the top of each token over the black line.  There would be a small space between "Proof" and the line so it would be readable.<br /><br />Please chime in a let me know which you would prefer...as is...identical to normal UR tokens...tiny "Proof" at top on ring.<br /><br />Let me know.  Thanks!

Why not got the MTG route and make the proofs "FOIL" tokens   Make the backgrounds shiny.

I think this years UR's look great Jeff but I agree with some of the other comments that "PROOF" across the tokens takes away from the tokens.

I agree that the proof overlay detracts a little from the overall appearance of the token. I like the idea of a proof along the top. If you want it to stand out more, you could put a proof on the bottom as well.<br /><br />I love way the Gearons looks now. Thanks for the change. Also the change to the sling just seriously upped its coolness factor in my option.<br /><br />Of course what would the world come to if I didn't notice a small consistency/typographical issue?  <br />The Ring of Fire Elemental Command needs a period after 'pts'<br /><br />Man, I can't believe I have to wait 5 months to actually get my tokens!

<br />I am not familiar with this whole "proof" thing- you mean you are actually going to send them to the printer like this? How do people get copies of the proofs? Is it a "you order so many" type thing?<br />

<br />Small "Proof" above and/or below is fine with me.  Is Jeff just trying to get out of initialling the back of all those tokens??<br /><br />
