I would not want extra XP for the GT folks.
It's not fair to the people who have played every year.
(And hey, I am both a GT holder, and one of the top XP people who have played every year, so I think I can say that.)

I am neither one of the people with the top XP, nor am I a GT holder - but I also agree that no extra XP should be awarded for the GT run. The run itself should be enough reward.

I agree. No need for the extra exp(no matter how much I want it). The GT run and its current perks are going to be more than enough. I only know what the perks for the ST run are going to be and the GT is even better than that, so I'm salivating and can barely wait.

I am one of the people with a GT (and for sake of disclosure, am one of the top 10 experience holders), and I concur that the GT Run shouldn't be for extra experience - although I could see getting the extra 50 or 100 exp for the extra room in it. I think it should count like a regular or Nightmare run (and I hope I get to do Nightmare with the group).

Having the Lords and Ladies only section of the forum has to be really COOL. Who knows what they are talking about over there...has to be something snooty - but my serious guess is - the LEvel 5s get some early informative perks or get to help on things the rest of us sublevelings might never see.

I just hope to make it to Lvl 5 on the first night and then watch as the magical doors open.

I heard a rumor that after the con, you need to be a Lvl 6 to be considered a Lord/Lady.... or could it be that I *made up* that rumor...

LOL. Thanks. It's sort of a pride thing for me now. I had one guy on another forum beg me to change it or remove it because his wife saw it and gave him quite a bit of grief about him not doing what I do. Besides, I'm a retired chef, so what else am I going to do besides cook for myself and my kids?

As a lowly 4th level, I would have to put my vote up against that sort of thing. If you're going to make the whole "Lord/Lady" thing based on experience, then it should be a set experience level that doesn't change. It might require several runs a year for 5 years to get there, that's ok. I can deal with that, but it should be a concrete goal. If it's going to be mutable and only for the people who were lucky enough to discover TD in their first year and stick with them for every year since then, it should be stated that way.

Since after GenCon no one will be level 6, I am guessing on the made up part.
