TOPIC: You Got Your Tokens? Please Post Here

I thought it would be good to start a new post specifically for those who have comments after receiving there tokens.  More are going out today and the rest of the week.  I am back now -- so we are going to start up the token mailing machine again.<br /><br />Thank you all for your support -- and your patience with our fullfillment.  It was just really bad timing for their arrival time.<br /><br />Good luck on getting your Golden Ticket!

<br /><br />Sorry...but nope.  I promise tomorrow!  We thought we had time to do them at the end of the day, but time ran out.  I gotta run now to the Post Office.  A bunch more are going out today.<br /><br />(Still very, very tired from the weekend!)

I'm not complaining about my tokens, repeat, I'm not complaing about my tokens.<br /><br />But there seems to be more...for lack of a better word...defects.<br /><br />Nothing major...but just little things like the plastic coating isn't fully pressed into the face of the chips and bits of paper haven't been removed from the sides..etc.<br /><br />I didn't seem to come across anything like it with any of the chips I had last year.<br /><br />Again, not a complaint...just a notice of quality control if you wanna complain to your manufacturing company.

<br /><br />Ditto - not complaining, but I did notice a little flash around the edge of a couple of them.  Less than 1/4 of a percent, I'd say.<br /><br />On the other hand, randomness seemed great - the only time I ever saw doubles, it seemed like one was plat the other gold.  Although 9 Thunderstones out of 120 rares is excessive.... grumble grumble... Of course, I wouldn't be grumbling if they were Rings of Protection or Belts of Retrieval.

<br />Same on the QA, two with the sticker on the rim and a couple with flash, nothing to cry about.<br />As for distribution, definately better than last year, only had one pack with 3 of the same thing (1 being a plat version).  But depending on how you packed the orders and shipped (perhaps in sequence of ordering) I got tons of certain rares and zilch from others, it seemed to me, that if you pulled all the tokens to person X from box Y from the distributor they tended to get the same rares in quantity and others less so.<br />(Admitantly 5 GoOS is not bad, but I really needed the Belts of Retrieval).  Perhaps randomly pulling token sleeves from several boxes would reduce this?  Not certain, but just a theory to explain the feast and famine nature of the rares people got.

Wah!!  No 00 bag!  Oh well!<br /><br />Tokens arrived here in SoCal on Sat in great shape - very secure, packed well.  Good distribution, with 3 Belts, but also 5 great clubs.  Liked the little paper explaining the GT's.  Happy to get my amulet in its separate little pouch.  All in all, I'm very happy with my order.  Thanks, Jeff!<br /><br />Brian<br />

I got my order on Saturday.  I think people misunderstand what random means.  It does not mean that you get one of everything.  600 bags over two years, and I get not a single GoOP, but like bpsymington, I have several belts of retrieval and +1 great clubs.<br /><br />Likewise, I didn't get any packs with more than 2 or 3 of the same item.  Great job on the "semi randomizing" the commons, if you did anything at all.  No '00 bag for me either, oh well.

<br /><br />Kay, well... take the time you need to recover from the weekend. I can champ at the bit for a little longer, I guess. As long as you can put up with me occasionally whimpering about the lack of tokens.

Welp, getting your tokens isn't all positives. I mean, just think of the back strain you're saving yourself. That and the crushing disapointment if you don't get a GT. I still have 30 packs sitting in a corner because I just can't bring myself to open them and confirm I might have ended up like this poor schlub *.<br /><br />*: Parental Guidance is advised.

Tokens are in...after 120 packs we ended up with a complete set, a "Ring of Wizardry", and more "Ring of Sanctuary" than you can shake a stick at.  No Golden Ticket though   Good luck to all those who haven't opened yet!

Got my tokens too.  No GT but I did get a 00 pack so that was kewl.  Great packaging but like some of the others mentioned earlier, a few QA issues, nothing too bad though.<br />
