LOL, I'm missing some 2026 that haven't come out yet, so I'll get closer. But I'll probably forever be missing 1 uncommon from 2003 and 14 rare from 2003!

Trent, I have confidence we'll both fill in a few more holes in our wooden token collection.

Do your missing woodies exist and are just in other player’s personal collections or are they lost to time currently?

I wouldn't be surprised if some of those missing 2003 tokens don't exist anymore. There were very few to begin with. I hope they do though. Speaking from experience, if Trent knew of any of those tokens in someone else's collection, he probably would have worked out a trade for them.

Sadly, methinks they don't exist. Players didn't really "collect" tokens in 2003. I've spoken to many people and heard that they just threw them away when they were done. I randomly run into someone who has one I'm missing every five years or so, and then work out a trade, but that hasn't happened for quite some time.

I have also contacted everyone everywhere, and no one has these. Mike Steele was the last person to have any I was missing, and he was kind enough to work out a trade right before the 20th anniversary display at Gamehole Con, so that I could have them as part of my collection display there.

Shameless plug! If anyone has any wooden tokens, I'm not far from completing my sets.
I'm only missing two Ultra Rare tokens and one Artisan token from my 2006 set,
I'm only missing seven ultra-rares from my 2005b set,
I'm only missing five rare tokens from my 2005a set,
I'm only missing eight rare tokens from my 2004 set. (not counting the Ring of Three Wishes)
I am still missing quite a few 2003 tokens, I need seven uncommons and 31 rares.

98.78% seems low. Between 2003 and artifacts, you are probably only missing less than 30 tokens. Looking at tokendb, there are just shy of 4000 listings but some of the listings also have sub-parts of reprints (plate +1, etc.). My guess is there are around 4,500 different tokens including reprints on different years. I'd be shocked if you are missing 55 tokens (getting to the 98.78%) even if some of the 2026 ones aren't there yet.
