I was actually thinking that the powers aren't so crazy powerful that I feel bad for not making a Mark, so kudos on that design.

And if you want proof positive this comment right here says it all. You are celebrating the fact that you didn't buy a token because the tokens not good enough. First of all shame on you for saying this and secondly shame on you true dungeon for allowing this to happen.

What were you expecting in terms of power level? Aren’t the fragment tokens a bonus for spending $8k? They didn’t actually cost you $8k unless you bought them on the secondary market individually. I get you are disappointed but the Mark was an unknown token. The powers weren’t known until just a few months ago.

To make this token so dumbed down that it is worthless like its current iteration is beyond the pail. If you want to keep people buying tokens you cannot continually pull out the rug from underneath them. I will acknowledge, no multi your token is going to be truly worth all the money we spent but to make the token this dumb down makes this completely worthless compared to the effort we put into it. Are you actively trying to make people stop going after tokens each year? I cannot reiterate this enough, the token as it is currently designed is horrible. It is not a multi-yearl 8K token.

Elder/Eldest Orb of Dragonkind is the only other Paragon token and it basically just gives +2 to a stat (unless you're fighting a dragon). This is definitely better than that.
Classes Played: Barbarian (75 times), Monk (64), Rogue (39), Ranger (37), Cleric (22), Fighter (16), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (11), Bard (8), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

Unless you bought them on the secondary market, the tokens were free. They are a bonus for 8k order.

IMO St Stern could use a little more bite. +10 Retribution damage is fiiiiiine.

With power creep continuing, items that don't provide specific amounts of damage bonuses tend to lose luster over time. Could we look at making a percentage boost for the items that are a bigger investment to make? I'd rather have a 10% bonus on pre-variable damage (ie not the damage wheels) for attacks today even if it means it is lower than the static numbers proposed. If a character is currently +50 damage, a 10% bonus of +5 is probably better than a +7 static bonus in the long run since that +50 will probably be +80 in a few years.

Otherwise, the ability to do things that are unusual are most preferred (additional head slot, have 1 person survive a TPK, etc..)

EDIT I say this as someone with 8K orders who is transmuting the mark.

No this comment is objective fact. Sorry you don't like truth but if the truth hurts don't get angry at the person telling the truth, change the truth.

And to respond the the people pointing out it's free, lol, no it's 8 thousand dollars. Where do you think the majority of the 8k orders come from? I'll give you the answer auctions that break the 8 k order apart. People spend lots of money on the patron "free" token which means lots of 8 k orders succeed which in turn makes Jeff a lot of money. Continue to make the end result so weak that no one wants to invest in them and it equates to less 8 k orders. And the comment I responded to was the exact proof of what I pointed out and completely relevant and not inappropriate at all despite your sudden mock anger.

And finally to hammer my point home, the the +2 saves on the patron level power is weaker than the 2 k order +2 saves mark.

I'm new here. I didn't get a chance to get all the fragments, and it's pretty much impossible to catch up, since I don't see Fragments 2 or 3 anywhere on the open market. I've had a hard enough time catching up on the Greaves and Rings, which are much more attainable goals than the Fragments. So, from that perspective, making the Mark so that it's not a "must have" is really good design. I'm sorry you're feeling bad about the reduced power levels, but I won't apologize for my relief in this area.

How are you level 12 and don't remember Orb of Dragonkind being an 8 year 8k bonus that gives +2 to a stat? What were your expectations on a 4 year 8k bonus? Seems like your expectations are the one out of line here and that's the actual truth.

I like how flavorful these are.

Nice work Impy!

For the:

St. Gubb
May use Eldritch Runestone effect (1/game)

What does the 1/game mean? Often eldritch runestone effects don’t mesh with the action economy, but provide some kind of a static bonus.
