TOPIC: No more Shirt of the Nimble

I'm afraid we have run out of Shirt of the Nimble and they are no longer available as PYPs. The last one went out with an order placed yesterday.

Could it be an option for someone to place an order for a Shirt of the Nimble with the understanding that they wouldn't get it until next year when people start transmuting for the Arcanum shirt? You should have plenty of them to send out then. That would still give people that need one for their transmute an option to order one within this ordering window, as long as they are OK waiting.

To be clear Shirt of the Nimble would not be available to order next year. It is 2021 token so would not be available in 2023. Shirt of the Imbiber is the 2022 token.

I do understand that, what I was proposing was that if someone ordered a Shirt of the Nimble when it would normally be orderable (through about September 2022) they wouldn't get it until 2023 when Shirts of the Nimble started getting turned in to True Dungeon for the Arcanum Transmute. Which is why the person ordering them would need to be OK waiting until 2023 to get the Shirts of the Nimble they ordered in 2022.

A card like Fred mentioned would also be fine for those needing one for the transmute recipe.

I think it has always been said a token PYP is available until the date it ends or until it is no longer available. Why can't we just say "sold out" and move on? Why must we continue to change patterns that exist in writing?

For most tokens I think that's OK, but for ones that impact multi-year recipes, where people might have already bought the previous year's tokens and need this one for the recipe, I think it would be nice for True Dungeon to offer a workaround if one is available. Especially in a case like this, where people reasonably thought they still had about 8 months left to order it.

In the end, it just seems like we want to make TD bear an additional cost to track stuff to compensate for where people didn't buy the PYP while it was available. I personally have no stake in it (I have 2 for me and wife) but it concerns me we talk about costs and yet we keep asking for "conveniences" without realizing the cost it will incur.

I obviously don’t place the manufacturing orders, but I would guess that ordering the 2021 mold again for one token is prohibitively expensive.

I have faith that TPTB didn’t purposefully short the token, and that there are a good number of them out in the wild. Sounds like the Arcanum set is going to be very popular!

How is the 2nd tooth a similar situation? I don't think they ran out of 2nd Teeth.

What costs would TD incur by either offering a card like they did for the Dragon Orb or waiting to send them until they become available from transmutes in 2023? Those both seem like minimal cost options for TD to implement.
