If there are rooms where we can't talk, does that mean we can't give any instructions to the golem?

You'll need to ask Incognito.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

Figure for a Bard you can do mime, dance, etc as ways of non-verbal communications to inspire.

Does airy water not allow speaking? From the Underwater Guide, "It’s neither possible to cast spells nor to perform a bardsong underwater unless you have somemagical means to create “airy water” around you or some other magical effect." I assumed if airy water allows bardsong and spellcasting then it would also allow speech.

Which means you're giving up an OOP UR for an 8-9% chance of 51 pulls, and a 91-92% chance of 21 pulls.

Yeah, I assume if you pull an orange, red, brown, tan, blue or green back it is technically not platinum backed.

If someone sac’s an OOP ur token and gets a pile of tokens that doesn’t include a UR or higher that would be upsetting. Seems like the same risk for holding onto an OOP UR for a better option that is only ever a one time use.

Seeing as I am going to bet there is A red backed this year if not two, which could be worth a larger than normal value, even if it is just the weaker version, it seems tempting personally.

The token needs a metal core to be pulled so no recent green or even possibly the transmutes red ones.

Assuming nothing changes, my understanding is those are represented by metal core pull proxies instructing the puller to speak to HQ to get them swapped for the actual prize, with bagged treasure being handed differently.

That explains me seeing someone draw a dragon orb as random treasure in person

I think Trent has enough to worry about with Jeff's announcement that plats in treasure are no longer limited to just uncommons and rares.

That's super cool but when did that happen?

So we can get platinum commons as treasure pulls? That seems like a big change, do we know what the % of the mix could be common?

If it is commons then even less exciting.

If it is commons that is absolutely terrible.

EDIT: After listening, I suspect they are not commons.

Also, didn't someone find a Platinum monster bit last year? Perhaps that was a test balloon?
