Yep, Druegar linked to the Elder and Eldest updated token entries earlier in this thread. That's where we saw the Spirit Pet.

Do I understand correctly that the Spirit Pet Red Dragon token may be used by anyone - including players without any Dragon Orbs?

This would be true with the rules as written, but I would like to double check:

I looked it up and under “ not redeemable “ Paragon ( dragon orbs ) are listed.

I just reread your question. It’s not for a paragon but for the “ rare “ pet. My apologies

Where in any of this statement did you see anything about the Token even being "moderately" powdered? Or any type of "powered". Let it go and continue enjoying one of the best games ever.

I am very excited about the token. Is it a very expensive +2, yes - but still a very cool +2 and I will be happy to have one in my collection.

The in-game use of Spirit Pet Red Dragon is not restricted to Eldest Orb of Dragonkind owners.

The only thing I find odd is the alchemical aspect. It’d be cool if it were a 1/game AC15 sliding spell that uses the token on a slider. That would make more sense than alchemy, like I’m summoning a dragon strike for one pass.

Outside of the Elder Orb and the Coin of Fate, will there be other ways to get this Red Spirit Dragon token?

Currently, there are no plans to make Spirit Pet Red Dragon available by means other than transmuting an Eldest Orb of Dragonkind .
