Agreed. They also tend not to send out notices for shipping. One day, at random, you get a package. They aren’t a giant organization so it is understandable.

Separately, i suspect more than 35 keys were sold. I am curious how that will be handled if it was over “sold.”

I think there were 35 said to be packages and there were another 14 in prizes. That would make 49, I imagine they sent 1 to Pat making an even 50. Of course I haven't a clue how many TD originally ordered, but I could see 50 being the number.


Okay I was a bit bored. I attempted to export all the donations on the page. I then loaded them into a temp database. I then searched for anything like 1,?, 2,? or 3,? that did not contain Humble Bundle. There were 23 matching results so I don't think the 35 number is anything that needs to be worried about. I did this very dirty of literally copying the page and just throwing everything into a single column. It is possible I missed a couple but I think it is likely accurate. Ohhh and I deleted said table, in case anyone was worried about the information (though it is all there on the website).

That is disheartening, I thought apparently wrongly that anyone who put in 30 bucks would get the honeycomb.

Here's hoping 3rd party isn't too bad as this implies there's going to be less than 500 of the transmute available.

That's almost certainly right then, I couldn't remember if it was under 300 or under 400, I just remembered there were way more than enough unless there was a massive rush on the last day.

So they were limitting the $30-$999 donation to 500 and the $1k+ to 35 and another 10 for prizes. They would mean there were plans to make 860 honeycombs. So wonder if they actually made that many what happens with the extras? Does WB use the for a future auction? Does TD only send them the ones they need for actual donations and therefore has the rest. Just curious.
