TOPIC: Have we been sleeping on Scroll Healing Maze?

I was wondering - does Scroll Healing Maze reset 1/combat abilities for the person sent to the maze?

That would be amazing, sadly I don't think it works as restarting the combat is a specific part of the Lesser Maze spell's effect (based on the PHB), while Scroll Healing Maze just isolates the character for a turn rather than actually casting "Lesser Maze" on them and resolving all of its effects.

Yeah - I know it doesn’t reset the whole combat - but I wondered if it might reset it only for the person in the maze.

If it does, then a 5x cabal set party can send 6 characters to the maze a round

Note that Cloak of Shadowskin doesn't work 1/combat anymore. You choose one hit / dungeon.

That said, the cleric in my group keeps some just to troll the Dwarf Fighter.

Can you cast a scroll of healing maze on an undead monster instead of players?
