When you have the Transmuted Teeth in 2021 AND some Individual Teeth will the singles still apply for the bonus HP?

I believe Jeff had said no on a previous thread (but that might have changed since then)

Thanks, I appreciate the reply! I was unclear on this, this makes my decisions to go back for extras of #4 & #5 a no-go.

I went back and was unable to find such a statement by Jeff. Could someone link it for me so I can add it to my list?

I could have sworn the response was that the transmuted item was separate and the skull plus additional individual teeth would still convey the HP bonus.

Jeff said the skull didn't work with the transmuted tooth. I don't think there's been a ruling on whether the transmuted tooth and UR Teeth can be equipped at the same time.

And I'll have to get a Shirt or two for future transmute. And, obviously, the Skull.

That's at least 4 URs for me.

No Legendaries this year since I don't play any of these 3 Characters.

I want Barbarian for sure. But also Monk and Ranger... eventually...
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

A clarification will have to be made for Polymorph regarding how +2 focus and +2 melee damage work on a token that'd increase both.

There is no rule definition for "+X to focus," that's just a token naming convention for things that include bonuses to spell damage/healing, and more recently spell damage/healing & polymorph damage.

This token grants +2 to spell damage, +2 to melee damage (among other things), and nothing to polymoph (other than the +2 to melee, which will be incorporated while polymorphed).

Jeff Martin wrote: Multi-Year UR Shirt Set: Over the next four years we plan to release four Shirts. The first three give bonus/penalties toward the STR, DEX, CON stats and the final year grants +2 Focus (+2 to cast healing spells, cast damage spells, and polymorph damage.) At the end of the four years, all four can be combined so they make one Shirt that gives +2 to all those 3 stats and has the Focus power.

Bold added for emphasis by me.

The effect for focus in this instance is defined within the blurb itself.

It will be deeply disappointing if they are not.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Of course, now it occurs to me there are great opportunities to reference the underthing in the commons (especially gp tokens) - things like broken gears, colored glass bottles, etc.. Too late for this year - maybe the year after.

Did you mean to say sliding the 20 doubles it again to 80?

That would make it incorrect, it does not double again. Fury is basically a 'limited crit', which works with ANY hit but only doubles damage with no other crit bonuses/triggers. If you land on nat 20, you get full crit benefits; which is just a better version of fury 'limited crit', so they dont stack.

incorrect

Fury: One per game, barbarians (whether Raging or not) can announce that they are going to "Fury" before making their attack slide. If they hit, the damage done with that one slide is treated as a standard 2× critical hit. It does not count as a natural 20, it's "just" a crit. That said, a Fury-fueled attack that actually lands on the 20 spot still counts as a natural 20 and can trigger effects which require a natural 20.

TLDR: Fury + Natural 20 != double double damage
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

Um - I'm not sure you are stating this correctly, it wouldn't be double double (X3) - just X2. However, a natural 20 could invoke special token properties (killing dragons, undead, etc depending on the token).
