When Shelly worked the check-in desk, there were several two-guy parties that went through every shift. But she’s been coaching Grind since before the new ghost rules.

We were doing those 5-person runs for a number of years now; the new ghost rule didnt change anything for us.

i attempted to solo sealed at GHC 2018. but i only bought 1 ticket. it didn’t go well. i did have a blast. i know this isn’t what you meant, but i just wanted it on record that i did try to solo a dungeon with just the starter pack....it was N3 if anyone was curious.

Point is, I haven’t heard of anyone doing them since the ghost rules went into effect, even though they’re still legal. I have heard of people having five in a party, because only five ghosts can get loot.

But I don’t know everything. Has anyone heard of anyone doing a run with more than five ghosts lately?

I haven't lately - but I'm aware of exactly 3 runs in the history of TD (Chad's solo nightmare in... 2015?, Raven and Kirk's 2 player nightmare in... 2017?, and one other solo nightmare who I've forgotten - maybe Mongo?) with 1 or 2 players - so I'm not sure I would have if they were happening.

MasterEd did one once, belive he played a druid prestige but dont quote me on that.

To Brad's point, other than an unplanned 2 man I sent when the rest of the group didn't show up, and Ravens double downs I haven't heard of any short handed runs recently, but I'll admit I dont make it out to every convention

I've done a 2 man twice and a 3 man once last year alone.. purely due to the run not selling out but this was Origins and GHC not Gen Con. Really memorable runs for me and more due to the randomness of no one else buying a ticket (or in once case run sold out and the group that had 8 didn't show up). Glad i had the chance to do them.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

yes
Rule of Thumb: If a recipe doesn't specify a specific year for a reprinted token, you can use any year.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

Excellent that answers half of the overall question.

Though I don't think as of yet any Transmute has a year requirement. Someone can correct me if I am mistaken about that. I know Monster Bits include their year, but I think that is more of a helper to know the year, but maybe not. And there are some that specifically say (any year).
