TOPIC: Do Complete Onyx Sets include completion tokens for the year?

I don't think I've ever taken one of these out of the shrink wrap, do complete Onyx sets include the UC/R completion tokens for the year?

I wish it did, but the answer is no.

To be very specific, Onyx sets only include the tokens you can pull from that year's packs, minus the Golden Tickets. No completion tokens, volunteer tokens, bonus tokens, etc.

Maybe Jeff should introduce a $25,000 ordering tier that includes an Onyx set that includes stuff like Onyx Monster Ingredient tokens, completion tokens, etc.

On the off chance the hard core collectors (hi Trent) weren't already aware, I'm pretty sure onyx completion tokens exist, they're just not in the onyx packs. I have an onyx ring of pandemonium and the tokendb image is the standard gold back so my guess is they're not all onyx.

I'm a fairly hardcore token collector, and I didn't realize that, I don't think I've ever seen an Onyx one. Maybe you got a rare misprint?

All of the Rings of Pandemonium that were handed out at Gencon were (that I saw) Onyx. I think if there is a gold-backed in existence, IT is the rare.

LOL, hi Aegoce. As far as I'm aware, the Ring of Pandemonium is only in Onyx. If a gold one exists, I've never heard of it, nor seen it. Methinks it doesn't exist.

There are other Onyx Completion tokens, but I've only seen one of them also available in Gold. See below for what I'm aware of, and if someone knows something different, pictures or it ain't true!

Hmm, milk and/or cookies tend to be the reward for sharing information in tokendb. I think we need a new reward for sharing info not in tokendb.

It’s not enough to share. You have to reference your source:

If memory serves, the same description is used every year. All that changes is the year.

That’s pretty explicit. Nothing about completion tokens, trophies, TG-only, etc.

True, it doesn't include completion tokens, etc, but it doesn't explicitly exclude them either. For instance, completion tokens are Uncommon or Rare, so they could fit within the existing description, as could the Rare Volunteer token.
