Ya when you put it that way shaed seems a lot better.

Hmmm, with the loss of healing and the only +1 saves, it is a lot closer than before.

I will probably stay with CoS. I think it is still good with being able to choose which attack you use it on. Wait for a particularly nasty attack, which could be 30-40 points on NM/Epic with a bad side-effect, and use it at that key moment.

In Grind/Horde, where CoS was routinely countered, there is some argument that Shaed was already better there. But again, the choice of when to use it might actually make it better there.

I have no interest in this Cloak. There are way too many ways around it. Especially for Incognito.

I wasn’t using it before because it wasn’t fun to never get hit. Now it’s like a better Death Die that takes a slot though. I might wear it alongside Pharacus’ cloak.

I forgot we had the shaed during Kingkiller season. Baring a relic cloak or a absolute reason to avoid an attack (medusa type effect) i'd vote for Shaed, for normal-budget nightmare.

If you're running epic then I expect to have better than new worded shadowskin.

Seems that those who'll still run shadowskin vs just buying it are likely due to charm of brooching which also came out in '14 and isn't all that easy/affordable to acquire.

My exact plan.

I expect MEC and Brooching to come back next year.

If any token is a must wear then either the slot has no competition or it is probably OP. It was unlikely to go from a must wear to another must wear.

Per the topics question - I am swapping mine for a new one because it is like having a reusable combat Savior Stone tokendb.com/token/savior-stone/ that also adds +1 Saves.

Good point Ed. If it's a must wear for everyone then it is likely OP. So good to see others thinking of making different choices.

To me though, the CoS is still the best UR Cloak on the market. Why? Because being able to full on out dodge a hit is HUGE! How many times does one get targeted and hit in the dungeon? I've done runs before where I've never been targeted. 10 people on a run + 3 rooms of combat + 3-4 rounds of combat. Can someone do some analysis here for me? How many times does the sword swing your way? Two times a run, maybe 3. So to me it's still BIS. I would have to think on Grind though. Still might be solid with the extra +1 saves

for the dungeon runs (excluding grind) it's still the best UR out there.

If you taunt/guard you might notice getting hit more often...

Really wish there was a token worth getting excited for as a dwarf to justify a pyp this year. URTE is my only given,

Well that depends on the Dwarf. If you are a new player just getting into the UR level then I'd say there are plenty of UR's on this years list to be excited about. If your Dwarf is not excited about any that's probably because you are no longer a UR player and have moved on.

For my Dwarf build the URTE is the only one worth slotting and I'm ok with that. If I were excited about UR's each year then chances are they would be OP at the UR level.

You have a dwarf build posted somewhere or something comparable i can mock up mine against? Yes I'm a UR+ as i do have a CoA/RoH/Icecrag my build still has rares filling in key slots as admittedly i spend less than 300 a year on tokens (exception being the year i pushed for my CoA when AoTF was still avail). Tried to make my pyp purchases 'count'

I love UR's that feel like they do something, i do dislike something that's once a game as i like to get use/value out of my purchases.

Edit: Sorry i'm letting emotions getting the better of me on what was a valid discussion of a token that has me bent out of shape worse than my old office chair.
