Yes, a good thought. It will benefit you now and help you when you want to transmute. Honestly all are good choices.

I would also add you should be collecting the Ioun Stone Silver Nugget (last year - goes out of print this year) and next year Ioun Stone Gold Nugget.

What transmute rumours are there? I thought Jeff had mentioned that the ious stones would not be part of the transmute.

He did.

He also had indicated that there may be a future series of URTEs that could be combined and that AoTF might be part of the recipe.

Slightly stronger than that, he said there will be that future transmute and that it would include the AoTF. It's also important to note that the AoTF will never be reprinted.

I would personally go for the CoGF for both of you and sit and see how that dose then start planning for the next step from there

Swear my fealty as a vassal to some Lord or Lady of the forums! He He.. I have witnessed the insane generosity of some of the veterans here on the forums. One of my first games (when I didn't have a grasp of how TE's all worked) of TD was in a PUG with Mongo. He walks up 10 CoA, 10 ISSN... just to be a cool guy. It blew me away and I was super humbled and super thankful for the experience. That game (the experience of community & not the insane treasure I pulled) was what hooked me on TD.

Yea I can definitely see opportunities in passing where that could happen. Thats why I really dig the mechanics of CoGF as a whole. It benefits the player to help themselves by helping others. I liked how that mechanic was pulled through to the CoA.

I hope the proposed Mega TE of the future has that feature in some capacity.

If you had to just get one TE I would suggest Amulet of Treasure Finding due to the chance it may be an ingredient in the future.

I think it's a certainty that it will be an ingredient in the future, it was stated pretty clearly.

I really wanted to let everyone know how much my wife and I appreciate the insight and help from the community in the collecting process. From an outsiders perspective the steep initial price tag of this hobby can be jarring. I truly believe this is a one of a kind community that relies on trust and looks out for one another.

We were able to get our CoA's. Everyone's input saved us time, energy, and money in collecting them.

Looks like I didn't need that extra pair of socks!

Congratulations on getting them, I don't think you'll ever regret it. :)

If you don’t mind, was it a direct buy or a creation story?

Same question here. I've also begun this quest and have no idea how I'm going to complete it

Congrats!

I picked mine up last year and have no regrets on that purchase.
