After my 2nd close call in as many years with loosing expensive tokens falling out it's long overdue for me to retire the cheap vinyl coin wallets for holding build through the dungeon.

Want something that i can fit a strap to and hold tokens no matter upside down or whatever as i've kept using coin wallets for so long just due to ease of showing into pockets. No idea how the dansco/whitman/optima hold when wrong side down. Wonder if anyone has bolted/riveted a couple of D-rings and used a adjustable strap on them or not.

Needs to hold 40ish tokens (full build plus spare weapons/stuff i swap for grind/alt).

Ideas/suggestions welcome and solicited. I'm finally at the prefer to buy once and be done with it stage finally. I just like having my hands free for combat ad when working on puzzles.

Pretty sure Snake Eyes had something that sounds like exactly what you're looking for.

I use the Dansco token Binders. My wife is crafty enough that she made a Book covers out of a fake leather material with a closing zipper. An adjustable strap attaches to a pair of D-Rings. It makes it easy to sit with the binder open in the coaches room to show everything you need, but when done close it all up and sling it like a messenger bag.

I then have a bracer on my off hand that has four magnets and holds my weapons and typically an emergency heal.

That is about as hands free as I have been able to get while still having everything I need with me and readily accessible

I will see if I can snag a picture of one of them when I get home tonight.

I would suggest the sleeves Kirk sells which secure a token better then the regular sleeves. Then put those sleeves in a 3 ring zippered binder that has a back strap. Probably the best balance of most inexpensive, flexible (you can pick your binder), and secure. If you want to do 40 tokens, each sheet holds 15 so you will need at least 3 sheets per build. I would recommend consumables to be handed in a different method.

I personally prefer the sash. It has clear pockets for the tokens so you can show tokens without pulling them out. (You still are required to pull out TEs) it’s comfortable to carry, doesn’t interfere with sliding. Mind has a zipper pocket at the bottom for common use items you want to pull out while on the run, like weapons and potions.

That sounds awesome and what i'd be looking for. I like and still use my basic magnetic bracer from MasterED but i'm at point where it's not longer feasible to put all the conditional or 'might need to be shown' tokens on there every run.

-ED i like those pages but i must be looking at the wrong area or store to find a good binder that has a strap that can take the weight. I already use the optima pages for home storage and would be nice to just keep on the same style of page. I still plan to use smaller coin wallets for my consumables. If a potion falls out i'm not worried, after loosing (thanks to awesome DM/player/whoever found and turned it in to the AC) my bloodless i'm at point i need to change.

-Jon I looked but at least they hold what around 20ish tokens?

I use something like this and the strap can clip to the inside (check before you buy some brands are different.

I don't know if you've seen my setup, but I think the binder that Ed linked is the exact one I have. I use these pages in it. They have a flap across the top of each row to close the pockets. You have to be a bit careful when turning the pages, as they're a bit floppy. I've occasionally had a token fall out while paging through the binder, but never while it's been clipped upside-down on my belt while I'm on a run. Even if one did, the zipper on the binder means that the token won't fall to the floor. If you don't want to go the "clip it to your belt" route, there are shoulder straps you can buy by themselves.

For things I need accessible during a run, I use a Whitman wallet in my pocket.

I have this binder and the sleeves from Kirk. Currently holding 8 full builds, plus a set of gear tokens.

I use the bag with shoulder strap from Trent’s site, but it is probably overkill.
Each of the 12 trays hold 35 tokens, so lots of room for consumables and loaner builds.

Tip: if you leave trays empty, don’t leave them out. Stick them on the bottom so the rest stay snug. If you don’t, they’ll rattle around and tokens will spill around. The zipper keeps them safe, but things get messy.

It’s great to pull out a tray of TEs for inspection. They lift out easily for fondling and drop back in. Doesn’t seem like Dansco is so convenient
