TOPIC: Question about transmuting mail

Question about transmuting mail 5 years 9 months ago #1

Mailed in a transmutation order last week.

I know it's busy at TD with Origins coming, but I haven't heard back. Tracking says delivery was made Saturday and the package was left on the front porch / door.

I assume that we don't get an e-mail until our order is finished processing and TD is shipping back to us. With Origins just a few weeks away, I fear my package might sit in Carbondale for a good stretch of time. If that happens - I'd just have to sit tight for the week or two, right?

If I recall correctly, doesn't Jeff post an alert that transmutation will be temporarily cease until the con is over? Is that just with Gen Con?

Thanks for any help. I'm mostly just antsy mixed with a little anxious.

In my experience, TD always ships out the same or next day. (Remember that Monday was a holiday, so no pickup until Tuesday.)

And, I don’t always get a tracking number. But I always get my tokens.

I understand antsy, but my guess is you’ll see it by this weekend, whether you ever get an email or not.

But what do I know... there may be Origins-related distractions going on. But I wouldn’t panic yet. :)

The only time I get a return tracking number is when I use PayPal.

Question about transmuting mail - RESOLVED 5 years 9 months ago #4

Thanks Brad & Harlax.

Of course the day I get nervous and ask the question is the day they send me a tracking #. Just got it ~30 minutes ago.

This will be my first non-trade token that I've transmuted myself. I am extremely amped.
