TOPIC: Treasure Token Pulls - Origins vs GenCon

Here's what I could find from Jeff about Monster Bits at Origins for N1.

I thought it depends on which runs you are doing? Wasn't there a post by Jeff that there will be both 2017 and 2018 boxes, and that doing N1 will get you 2018 pulls? Just no 2018 monster bits. On phone currently, so it is tough for me to search.

My understanding as well is that it depends upon the run. If you are running Moongate Maze or Dancing you will get 2017 treasure chips and have to use them at Origins or they go to waste. For Astral you will have a choice whether or not to wait.

I STRONGLY disagree. You should either have to pull treasure associated with the dungeon you ran, or all the treasure should be the same.

I actually have options since i am going to gencon. Depending on how monster bits are handled, i may save all my 2018 treasure draws for gencon. But some people dont have that option. If someone runs N1 on saturday and is told they have to draw 2017 treasure, because people who did last year dungeons took all the 2018 treasure?...expect some very upset customers.

Agreed, IMO if your doing a 2017 run it should generate 2017 treasure, if your doing N1 you should get 2018 treasure. Though really it doesn't matter a whole lot in the grand scheme.

It used to be there was a different treasure mix for each dungeon. If you wanted all the bits, you had to run all the dungeons. I guess it got to be a hassle. Sounds like we’re heading halfway back to that.
