TOPIC: Overpriced Characters

Perusing Ebay I found someone selling a bunch of complete characters from gencon.

Seems extremely over priced to me.

One of the tokens I saw in the pages has Mongo’s glow in the dark tape on it.

Most of them seem to be priced at about 2x the going rate for the tokens included (if not more). I’ll be surprised if any sell, but—keeping an aye on them out of curiosity...

He is the first one that I saw with but he has shared it liberally I have some for some of my most valuable tokens that I slide

It was just a comment. Kind of like should be somebody selling it that we know although I could identify it from the eBay site

If someone decides to sell the strips, I hope they don't charge a ridiculous amount for it. Even for the strongest glow, the cost per token is less than 10 cents .

The Barbarian looked about 25% too high.

Looked at the Bard, that one looked about right, but at full token price though. Amulet of Wonder and Widseths Lute were the big one's in there for $350, plus all the rares.

Not sure where he gets $100 for the wizard tokens.

9k Looked way over priced for the paladin, I dont think all of them combined are 9k.

I am bringing LOTS of pre-cut glow tape to Origins, free for the asking... (a couple per person please)

I got iabout 40-50 already cut to the needed width maybe an inch long... nail clippers work great to do final cut.

I have given a lot out on the past, but I got the idea from Kirk of TDTaven, not my original idea...

I don’t charge... I caught the roll for maybe $7 and it is way too much for me. I don’t want to undercut another person who might sell it, but if you see me at Origins, just ask for some if you want.

I will be in Transmutation room when not doing runs...

I bought it for me but only really needed maybe 2 feet (which cut narrower makes 3-4 per width...] and I am happy to get rid of it...
