TOPIC: Is this worth anything?

Is this worth anything? 6 years 9 months ago #1

I have to be the laziest sucker around, but if I posted pictures of all my too, would someone be willing to tell me if anything is worth anything?

(Someone is looking to trade tokens for tickets, I opened my box of token and am just instantly overwhelmed by the idea of looking all these up when I know 90% are worth nothing...)

I don't see anything particularly valuable sitting on top, but sure I can help if you post pics.
My online token shop: www.tdtavern.com

We buy, sell, and trade True Dungeon tokens. We also have a convenient consignment program where you can sell your own tokens.

Hi kirk,

thanks for volunteering to look through my tokens.
I'm not sure what it is I'm doing wrong, but I've tried to attach the files three times and every time I go back to the post, my reply is gone. Not sure if there is like... a delay on posts with attachments or something, but they just won't post for some reason!

Hi Ruth,

It would probably be more work on your part, but you could also type a list of the tokens. The more valuable ones would be pretty easy to identify by the community.

Thanks!

Ruth, that did work, thanks!

Most of the tokens are fairly low value, with a few like Monster Ingredient Tokens and Completion Tokens worth around $5-$8, although you have enough quantity that you could probably get a decent offer for them.

You do have one standout token that I saw, the Amulet of the Champion. Two of those sold on Ebay in the last couple of months, one for $139.95 and one for $149.99.

Thanks!

The short answer is now a yes.

The amulet of the champion has value.

There are a lot of them for sale in the $150 range.

I would check ebay and see what they have sold for.

The rest of your tokens are much less valuable. You might get a couple bucks for the monster bit or trade token.

EDIT: I did forget about the gold.
That has some value as well.

If you're selling everything as a lot, expect to get offers of about $50. I wouldn't take those.

It really depends on how quickly you want to sell.

Just to clarify for wade the Amulet of champion is the standout 150~ range the rest of your combined tokens have some value in the 50~ range. To give an example if you traded your amulet of champion for 2 gencon true dungeon tickets I would consider that a fair deal.

I agree about 2 tickets for the AotC as a fair deal.

I think 50 for everything else is generous, but that's just me.
