Aren't these too much of liability to be equipping? A lot of parties are going to be zapping themselves if there's a water-filled room.

Bracers of Fire & Frost seem significantly better.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

And those water covering the floor rooms. At TDC our Druid zapped 8 of the party like a big bug zapper. Zap and we were dead.

I resemble that remark. Gotta love those bloodly nightmare runs, also I don't think anyone will ever let me play a druid again.

Would have the 5th Level Paladin Sacrifice have kept him/her self and 1 player alive? "This feat must be initiated at the point the other player is about to die." So since the damage hits all players at the same time, just before the Paladin and lucky player he paladin is choosing die, the paladin triggers the ability and both players are set to 5hp.

Let's go off the rules vs what makes sense, otherwise we get back into the GotFF...

Yea, but then the monster in the room finished them off.

James - That was an awesome TPK. I think you even doubled the spell damage before you cast it.

Don't think I'll ever forget that run.

Doubled and added a pixie dust. I believe the push damage finished them.

I think my group was only saved by my having to play the Druid Summoner, so I wasn't able to double my lightning Damage. :)

I was the paladin in question on that run. If i recall we ran into a time/action issue around the Sacrifice ability. Basically i could sacrifice but I and the other player would die to either the critter or push damage before either of us got a action to heal/do something else.

James: It's not so bad having a banned class, i'm pretty much unable to touch wizard after deciding it was a good idea to cast fireball when the whole party was in the lake during grind one year. Been a long long time before and since when Raven and Eric had such glee on their faces...
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven
