Hi Matthew, thanks for the welcome. I didn't know about the pre-meet up potential, that's really great. And I definitely plan to be there early too!

Click here to see my collection so far . These are my 2014, 2015, and 2016 sets, with a few misc tokens from other years.

Well Done with the collecting sheesh! :)

You are never too old to play D&D, but I must admit Pathfinder is where I too get my enjoyment. I hope to see you at the con.

Wow Trent! For someone who's yet to play True Dungeon that's a really nice set of Tokens!

Thanks Lordoftherealm and Rob F! I definitely hope to see everyone at Gen Con. Kirk told me about a trading night on Wednesday, so maybe I can see a lot of you guys then.

And I'm pretty happy with the collection so far, but there's a couple of pesky ones I'm still hunting down.

:)

Log in and a search or two on you're listed start time and the event # from gencon (TDA#######). See if other forumites are on you're run. If you don't find a result put up a new post in Adventuring groups form here 2016 with the date/time and event ID and see if you can meetup or plan online with anyone else in your party.

See you in the dungeon.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

What is this trading event on Wednesday night?

Is anyone invited?

It sounds fun.

Well, I'm certainly in no position to answer, being the n00best of the n00bs, but my assumption is that the token collection gang gets together each year to trade and salivate over collections. I suspect if we watch the forums, we'll find out where/when the fun will be!

Myron, people bring all of their collections to trade. Some have stacks of rare to trade. Basically everyone just sits around and had a good time while picking up those "last pieces" (gear) they need before delving deep into the dungeons.

Hehe...this doesn't include all of my common, uncommon, and rare tokens that I sorted recently and still need to sort. That picture is my "collection" that I'll keep in binders and token trays.

Click here to see a couple of pictures of my friends helping me sort 2016 tokens for Trade Tokens. I still need to go through 2014 & 2015!

But I suspect our collection pales in comparison to those that have been doing it for many years. We've got a lot of catching up to do!
