I'm in the market for a Mithral Coin of Fate (
tokendb.com/token/mithral-coin-of-fate/
), and after talking to a few different people, there seems to be confusion about the range of years it's usable to turn in this token for.
I know that the description of a TDb page is used to explain further details about the token, as in what can't fit on the token, but the current description of this token could be interpreted to conflict with the text on the token.
Text on Token:
Redeem for any 2007-2012 token except Artifact, Relic, Wish or Legendary
This clearly says the token you may get will be either a 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, or 2012 token.*
And this has been my understanding, and the understanding of everyone I've ever spoken to about it, with the exception of a few people I recently discussed this token with.
First sentence of description:
The owner of this token may exchange it for any other token printed in 2007 or later (subject to availability), if it’s one of the following rarities.
This clearly says the token you may get (if available) will be either a 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, etc. token.*
* Of course, when I say token that it can be redeemed for, I mean subject to availability and within the acceptable parameters, which is clear on the TDb page:
- Common
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Ultra Rare
- Premium
- Combo (1C, 2C, 3C, 4C, Trade)
- Monster Trophy
- Lore
- Trade
- Transmuted-Enhanced (3 point star)
- Transmuted-Exalted (4 point star)
So the question is, subject to availability, which year range is correct? The text on token (2007 - 2012), or the first sentence of the description (2007 - present year)?
Thanks!
