apologies if this is a duplicate question.

if I carry 20 "horn of the blessed ox", could I cure 40 points during an adventure?

Pretty sure this would violate the "only equip 1 of each named token" rule.

Wands I can bring 20 in of, why not horns?

Tokendb does say it is a maximum of one per person and once per game.

Horn of the blessed ox totally says one per adventure and one per person.

I'll admit that I found myself wondering the same thing at some point. I knew of the "one of each named token" thing, but then saw people saying to get around the 1/room part of wands by just bringing five of each named wand, so the idea of not being able to get around 1/game with the horn by just bringing a bundle of horns seemed incongruous. I still think it is, going simply by token text, though I recognize that in the token DB it does quantify it with the whole "Max 1/person" thing under the "limited use" line.

I was just pointed to the • Amulet of Wonder description (Thanks, Kent!), and found that • Harpy Claw Amulet and • Necklace of the Oak were given to True Realm players with the first amulet. Is there a Source other than Completion that would apply to those last two? Possibly Dungeon Only, as in the • +2 Bracers of Defense (which required a special combat slide once • Special (UR) was turned in)?

Maybe along the same lines, since • Ring of the Hallowed wasn't tied to a run (as I understand it from reading about True Dungeon Celebration), should the Source be something else - Appreciation?

Just trying to make sense of things. Feel free to point out my flaws in logic!

Im not sure how to interpret this response. Are you saying that his query is invalid and no changes will be made, per some official decision? Or are you saying that he should come back after a discussion and some concensus has been reached on the subject?


How about if i just try a different course...

Could you add another 'source' tag of 'unique' or something similar for tokens acquired by special circumstance (such as all those mentioned above), and then include a paragraph in each of their description about how they were distributed?

Necklace of the Oak now came from Dungeon Only
Harpy Claw Amulet now came from Dungeon Only
Ring of the Hallowed was now acquired via Appreciation
