With multiple legendary blade (some of which are can be dual wielded) I don't expect steel to stay $4 for long.

For us, the hardest part to get to build legendaries is the gold.

It was high on some
Low on others.
Again these prices will change.
Planks and steel will be around 5 ea( my guess)
Silk and hides around 11 or higher
Just don't know what the market will demand

Can't see that silks and hides will be in that high demand this year. The recipes don't call for that much this year...

The ink would be more appropriate at $4-5

Except the silks and hides were high demand last year. Not sure how many are out there to be parted with

My speculation puts demand at
Ink, Parchment, Argonite, planks and steel all on the rise.

Of these I suspect there are still alot of planks and steel out there currently but thats about to change. Ink might be a more minor compared to those others.

Stones have been taxed a lot so they could see an uptick as well.

One thing to remember is there is a jump in the number of transmutes this year so its only natural there will be an increase in trade item demand. Its compounded that there could be a need for multiple of the same legendary.

I'm waiting for newbies to slam their pucks down the combat tables, making other pucks fly off of the combat table in random directions. I can just hear it, (next or adjacent room), "Oh look, a $2500 orange just rolled by, catch it!" :P More likely, a player quietly bends over, picking up the orange, thinking, "Oh look, shiney." The hidden cost of artifact weapons. :pinch:
True Dungeon IS teamwork. Tokens offer a better chance of survival for the team. :-)

Just went through my tokens, trade ins, and what will be ordered to look at where I will be at in making Welfor's Sword. Looks like I will be able to make it with no problem.

While I was looking into that I was struck with the thought of using that weapon in a puck. It is not going to happen. I will make a black and white copy and glue it to another token. This will allow me to keep the weapon safely in my token holder. I will show each combat DM that I do indeed own the token but it is never going to be used in a slider.

EDIT: Just thought of something, Maybe Jeff would be willing to give those of us who get legendary weapons a certified proxy token. You have to show the weapon and the proxy at check in or some such to make sure a person is not just using a proxy.
You can't fix stupid but you can TPK it.

I think it is time for Jeff to sell/give pucks for each player with a Legendary Weapon. Some of the artifact users have pucks, so it is not without precedent. The puck could have our name and either have the token locked into it or a way to secure place the token in it. I know if I am using one I would prefer a way to keep it safe and would pay to get a puck that does it.

Would it make sense to create pucks with people's names on them for Legendary weapons, when those weapons can be sold or traded away at some point? And maybe the concern would be that someone would get the special puck, and then sell the Legendary token and keep using the puck?

Pucks with a magnet in it, solves the problem. And if you want to use a very strong magnet, you only need a small hole that can be used to poke your token out from the underside.

This doesn't feel like a large problem. Can't use the slider without the token. Seal the token in the slider. Sell the sliders to anyone who wants one.

I wonder if Jeff might resist doing that because it gives people the ability to practice with that slider all year. They would be really deadly with it by GENCON.

Not sure if that would happen or not. Each board is a little different in its sliding characteristics. Practicing on one with the same coefficient of friction over and over again might actually be harmful.
