Final Transmuted Recipes 10 years 5 months ago #1

Everyone -

Thanks so very much for all the great feedback! I much appreciate your help in forging these formulas. Many of you made some great points -- especially about the +3 Rod of Niltongue. I reduced the costs for both the Rod and the Potion of Distilled Healing. Those changes are in BOLD.

I kept everything the same (I think). I can certainly see your points about the 2x Aragonite and the UR's for the Legendaries. I feel both of these are warranted given the power of these Legendaries.

I hope to create some cool events/game actions at both Whos Yer Con and Gen Con Indy that will really reward those who have transmuted Relics and Legendary items.

Bis=18
MUN=19
Fleece=5
HIDES=39

Never really commented on the recipes, except once in passing. But man, those Legendary weapons are expensive. The basic costs seem roughly the same, but requiring extra URs? That's disheartening.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the changes. I would still recommend for the healing potion to change the wording for the recipe from "any 1 point healing potion" to "any common healing token". The way the wording currently is, it will exclude exchanging the following common healing tokens: Dwarven Rations, Orcish Rations, Goodberry, and even Fermented Frostberries from 2012.

I could see it being slightly more expensive also - even trading in 12 or 13 common tokens for a 10 point transmuted token seems like a pretty good deal :)

Thanks!
Mike

those are not potions...we are making a bigger potion. So I see why it is worded that way

From a logical perspective, the Goodberry and Fermented Frostberries were the "1 Pt Potion of Healing" equivalent token for those years, so it makes sense they would be included as well.

And from a story perspective, I could certainly see including all the different common healing tokens as part of making a more powerful healing potion. Pour a few healing potions in the pot, mix in a couple of frostberries & a Dwarven Ration, stir until dissolved - Voila! That's no different from potions in fiction needing wings of bat, eye of newt, etc :)

NO clue, but I am sure there is a reason.

Aragonite for sure. Between this years recipes and the ROH to come to the transmute list next year it will be in high demand.

Minotaur Hide continues as a resource constraint as well.
