*smaks self up side the head* oooh I bet Jeff is changing up the beads as we speak.

Yep, I believe he is. Thanks to that link you sent me. So you have only yourself to blame. :evil6: :icon_tongue:

Awwww, the "Ticket" tokens for 2003. I remember them well. Sorting them, stacking them, selling them. Too bad I didn't manage to keep one. I could sell it on eBay for a fortune and retire. :toothy10:

yeah, memory tricks shouldn't rely on order, but on the design of the beads. he can put them in any order he wants... i might still be able cast half way decent from my memory tricks from last year.

the right tricks, and the spell is locked in memory. sounds like spellcasting to me...
I don't have the Death Star...but I do have the Star Destroyer expert X-Wing and expert Tie Fighter...

(grinning) I got the Ultimate Collector's Series Rebel Blockade Runner.

Lego still rules as the coolest toy ever, in my world.

I got away with a BIG set once...(Star Destroyer was HUGE)...I could not convince the wife the Runner was not that big...hehehe

Totally!

Smallest bead = Piety
Largest bead = Faith
the wheel = Zeal
the C = Charity
the shell = Grace
the shield = Courage
etc.

I liked that thing... it made it interesting. The recent bard charts are to easy too memorize... that added a little healthy dose of guessing/fear into what you thought something was. Maybe a compromise between the two?

What it also added was unreadable tiny@$$ font in incredibly lowlight conditions. I was tearing my hair out by the end of it trying to decipher out that curvey elfscript.

I think it would be cool to bring back the Bard book - but have it be more useful.
For example, have a page in it with half a dozen symbols & meanings which WILL be used in the dungeon this year. Have a couple false clues, but put the icon of a red fish on those pages (anyone with a clever mind will recognize a red herring when they see it, won't they?) Have some real, useful clues. Hey - have some actual information about the quest - the sort of stuff which most party members gloss over when they watch the into video or listen to the intro actor. That way at least the Bard has a written re-cap about why we're here, and where "here" is. Put a riddle or an anagram in, which (if interpreted correctly ) will help the party. Sure, make the Bard work for his knowledge a little, but if you present a lot of useful information and the bard can only remember some of it, then it's more like remembering a lot of old semi-useful tales.

Oops. Getting off topic a little here, aren't I?

Thanks for the list of changes, guys.
