Gary, <br />You are right, I completely forgot about the .com backs, I will have to add that image to the guide.  That means there was a second printing, crap.  I will edit the above post.  OK this is becoming too much of a job....<br /><br /><br />

The purples from last year had the ".com" on their backs -- and no other tokens have EVER had the ".com" backs -- other than the tickets from year 2003.  We used them as tickets, and we actually wrote the times on them by hand.  I think we let people keep them.<br /><br />I used these left over "first ever tokens" for the Purples last year as a bit of a counterfeit device.  I did not do it this year, because they are now available with the "00" roll.<br /><br />Sorry Dave!

OK,<br />but you realize that now having one of the original blank tickets (or with time) will be the collectors prize, don't you...  I remember sorting all the tokens with times on them that first year, and yes we let the players keep them.  Only used at Indy though, right?  <br /><br />It is all starting to make sense in some weird sort of way.....<br /><br />Dave

<br /><br />Yep...only at Indy 2003.  BTW, the reason that we made out own tickets outside the system was becasue we were such a last minute addition.  We did not even make the deadline for event entry.

<br />Ah HA! So it was YOUR fault! I started going to gencon in 2003 but didn't find out TD existed until well afterwards. I always berated myself for somehow missing it in 2003 and I couldn't figure out at the time how I had managed it. I went through the event listings with a fine tooth comb before 2003 looking for interesting events and never saw it.
