TOPIC: So is the SRoEC worth it?

I ask as I only have one set of all four elemental rings, and as I understand it, 2012 is the only year in which I can trade them all in for the SRoEC.

I like having all four rings, but I can wear at most two of them at a time...bleh...can't make up my mind.

I'd go for it if only because it's an eldrich item and you know that set will be stone cold nuts

You have until the end of 2013 I think. Best to ask TPTB, though.

I believe that is correct. The Ring of Fire Elemental Command is re-released next year, and you've got until the end of 2013 to turn it in.

according to http://truedungeon.com/transmuted-token-redemption , you have until December 1, 2013 to transmute these tokens:

• Draco-Lich Claw Charm
• Eldritch Runestone
• Girdle of Frost Giant Strength
• +3 Mithral Bracers
• Scythe of Reaping
• Ring of Improved Evasion
• Supreme Ring of Elemental Command

The only real case where the supreme ring is not worth it is when you are equipping multiple characters. Even then, there are so many good ring options it might not matter. If you are just equipping yourself, you do loose out on 1 point of elemental specific "revenge" damage, but the fact that the supreme ring does Eldritch damage should make up for that in the long run. Besides the resistance gets upped from -5 to -10 and it covers all 4 elements!

And keep in mind, once you get two Eldritch items, there are all kinds of great bonuses: +10 to all heal spells, ignoring all spell and damage resistance, and +1 Level to Druids and Rangers at the minimum

Yep, yep. This ring will rock primarily once it starts adding to set bonuses. I'd recommend comboing for it.

Where is this stated at?

Echo prior comments, but also realize you can no longer switch rings in the dungeon, so a pocketfull of different ones is of no use -- you only get two (or three) slots and so they need to count...
