I think the monk/wizard should be able to wear all three items.

And I don't the the crown counts as a helm - it's not listed under ARMOR in the token guide.

You are correct on the sword and flying creatures. I didn't even think about it. If the harpy were perched on a ledge or tree within 30 feet, the sword could attack, but flying the sword isn't fast enough to react.

Stacking rules apply with Gertz's backpack. You cannot put a Oakskin Medallion in the backpack and still get the effects for wearing one as well, but you coudl put multiples of the same slot in the backpack, i.e.Ring of Fire Protection, Ring of Protection +1, Ring of Feather Fall, Ring of Fronst Resistance, etc. The items that were put in the backpack and dstroyed this year were:

1. Amulet of Thorns
2. Medallion of Greyhawk
3. Ring of the Deep
4. Oakskin Medallion
5. Boots of Free Action

Wow, the item is even more broken than I'd thought. I thought you'd have to sacrifice items each run, pretty amazing you get the effect for all of GENCON.

I don't see where this is broken. How the artifact operates is an agreement between Jeff and the maker of the artifact. It shouldn't really be a concern to anyone else.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I respect yours that it isn't broken, my opinion is that this (and most other artifacts) are so overpowered that they are in fact broken.

Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I would not be surprised if Jeff regrets ever introducing the artifacts. I think they're an extremely cool thing that he did and I think the angst over their power is a shame.

so you don't have a charm or awareness? That gives a group effect.

If I decide to build one it will be hopefully one of these two options(depending on what it cost me to make)
1. Group effect ..everyone gets X extra treasure pulls (i dont think would effect any in game stats)..along with me never having to do a darn rogue box again.

2. Me only...I get to dual wield with any character I play (possible a third hand if I play monk or ranger..stipulation..i have to wear hand of glory)

I dont think my group effect would change game play..or make it too powerful......
