We think we have all the bugs worked out of the Character Token Equipper Program. Please take a look and see if you can find any more issues...and we can address them before Gen Con.

PLEASE RE-SAVE all your characters now - for the new program updates to work properly.

PLEASE use this program as much as possible! It will save your Coach a lot of time, and give you more time to prep for the upcoming adventure.

A big thank you to all the great forum members who contributed to the beta testing. Your help is much appreciated!

Just tried the equipper now.

Regarding ranged thrown weapons, the damage for strength has been corrected.

Thrown items that have the correct to hit additions:
+1 keen hand axe
+1 Sea Elf Spear

Thrown weapons that do not have their "plus" added to hit:
dagger of the sun
+1 iron spear
+1 light Trident
+2 dagger of venom
+2 Heavy Trident of Skewering
+2 Long Spear of Dragon Slaying
+2 Skull of doom
+1 Dagger
+2 Dagger

The plain sea elf spear is getting a +1 to hit (other plain items, bows, crossbows and slings all look good)

Clicking on the ranged dot on the picture still brings up the ranged offhand list of items

Orb of might is reflected as giving +2 to str, but gives +2 to hit and damage instead of +1

brawler's mug in mainhand gives +2 damage (if you have one in each hand, that's +4 damage) - although, this is pretty funny as a drunken master barbarian :silly:

Click "My Account" at the top of this page, then "View my characters and parties" on the right hand side.

For those with iPad/Phone/Pod Touch, the Character Token Equipper (and the website in general) works just fine.

The only wrinkle I've found is that on the iDevices, you have to tap on a token, wait for the token's preview to appear, then tap on the token (not the preview) again to actually equip the token to the slot.

I can not speak to how the site will function from other smart phones.

Will you have a static copy of the character database that you'll be pulling from on site, or will you be pulling from the live website at the con?

I only ask for the scenario where people will have a character built, but then find helpful party members willing to loan them temporary upgrades.

This program is great! To all those putting the hard work into it, bravo!


I found one little possible glitch (though in my newbiness I could be wrong).

With the same equipment my Wizard has an AC of 16, while the Elf Wizard has an AC of 11.

Don't know if the Equipment matters, but here is what I'm trying to use:
Oakskin Medallion
Robe of the Magi
Bracers of Defense +1

Nice pick up. :)

I tried it too. The elf wizard and the dwarf fighter has his AC stuck at 11 no matter what you equip him with for AC adjusments (tried robe of archmage, celestial bracers, torc', ring of prot +2).

However, his AC can be improved with dexterity improvements.

One more little quick thing. When I try to outfit a Paladin with an offhand melee, I only get melee weapon choices, as if he's a Ranger. No shields and etc like the other classes.

Also, when I dink around in Off Hand Range (at least it did this for me for the Druid), I get more than just the Archer's buckler. I get all legal shields. I tried clicking on them, it won't let me equip them (thank goodness!) but they are still displayed.


Ok, no more 'beta' testing from me. :lol: I have a very important exam on Tuesday and I should be studying for that, and not getting overly excited at how awesome this, and Gen Con is going to be.

(and the program sucking me in, is a testament to how awesome it is!)

If an Orb of Might is equipped in both Melee Offhand and Ranged Offhand, the generator gives that character +4 to STR and counts as two items in the Might set.

If you are wearing all five Might items and have the Orb equipped in both offhand slots, you get +6 to melee damage.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
