Fortunately both of the Common Wands are used in different Combo Items this year, so I'm sure you'll still be able to find a use for them!

I plan on doing at least one, maybe two trade items next year that will cover wands, rings, amulets, circlets, crowns, and necklaces. Once that is issued we should have coverage for all the different tokens you would want to trade in.

Question, will these new tokens also be required to make the Eldritch items?

Since next year the last of the Rings of Elemental Command are coming out, which means we can make the Ring of Eldritch Power, will that Combo Token require these new combo tokens for wands and jewelry?

Can it also be safely assumed that when the last of the rod of 7 parts is out, we will need these as well?

I still wish that the Supreme Ring would do 4 points of damage instead of a measly 2...

Yep, hang on to them if you do not use them in the combos. There will be a token next year for them.

And I still advocate the addition of the Acid damage protection.

4 damage does sound better for something as hugely powerful as an Elderich item. I also agree that acid would be good to have. It is four UR items and all the trade tokens, so the cost is larger then any in TD history.

Well, since the Ring of Earth Elemental Command is going to protect you from Sonic damage, and not Acid damage (or so I've read), I think that the protection offered by the Supreme ring is consistent (Fire, Shock, Cold, Sonic).

Really, either way that you look at it, neither Sonic nor Acid makes "sense" for Earth. Sonic is more Air, and Acid is more Water, but it's D&D so we roll with inconsistencies like that. The only think that would make "sense" in my mind for a protection element from Earth would be physical blows with anything that came from the Earth; effectively making it a DR 5/- ring which is probably too powerful.

Another thing that seems to be against Sonic for Earth, is how many crystalline-based creatures and constructs (which are more Earth-based) take extra damage from Sonic damage (i.e. Thunder Stone), which makes it seem like Sonic would be the antithesis of Earth, rather than representative of it.

But there are five damage elements, and it is a huge cost, so it would make sense that the Ring of SUPREME Elemental Command would protect from all five elements.
